Not a Substitute for Medical Care
Nothing provided by Anchor Advocacy — whether written, verbal, or through our website — should be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Our role is to help you better understand, organize, and navigate your healthcare journey. All medical decisions should be made in consultation with your licensed healthcare providers. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
Professional Qualifications
Gina Schwartz is a Registered Nurse (RN) and Wound Care Certified (WCC) professional with clinical experience in emergency medicine, ICU, cardiac care, wound care, and public health. While her nursing background informs her advocacy work, the services provided through Anchor Advocacy are advocacy and navigation services — not nursing care. No nurse-patient relationship is established through the use of our services.
No Guaranteed Outcomes
While we work diligently on behalf of every client, Anchor Advocacy cannot guarantee specific outcomes. We cannot guarantee that insurance appeals will be approved, that diagnoses will be obtained, that specific treatments will be recommended by your providers, or that any particular result will occur. Our role is to provide you with the best possible support, information, and strategy to advocate for yourself within the healthcare system.
Client Responsibilities
By engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your medical history and current situation.
- Understand that all medical decisions remain your responsibility in consultation with your healthcare providers.
- Notify us promptly of any changes in your medical situation that may affect our work together.
- Use the information and strategies we provide as tools for self-advocacy, not as medical directives.
- Maintain your own copies of important medical records and documents.
